Bronco Sport Basics and New Features
The Bronco Sport was designed to provide a smaller version of the popular midsize Bronco with the flexibility to perform on both paved roads and rugged trails. Every model can handle some level of off-roading, but the 2025 Outer Banks and Badlands trims now come with the Sasquatch package, which adds new steel bumpers, a bull bar on the front, a little extra ground clearance, and more for ultimate capability.
All five trim levels also now come with a larger standard infotainment screen with more advanced software, a standard 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, style updates, and adaptive cruise control.
Trail-Ready Performance
The standard Bronco Sport engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder that makes 180-horsepower, which can be upgraded to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 238-hp output. An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with either option, and all-wheel drive is standard across the lineup. The larger engine also adds paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel if you prefer the option to shift manually. Five standard drive modes, Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, and Off-Road let you customize your vehicle’s performance.
Stylish Functionality
The rugged exterior styling of the Bronco Sport is both functional and exciting to behold. The base model features a carbonized gray grille with white BRONCO lettering, which comes with active grille shutters to enhance performance. The black-finished side mirrors are power-adjustable with convenient heated glass. Two adjustable floodlights are mounted on the liftgate, and there’s even a bottle opener located in the hatch. Flip-up rear glass makes it easier to grab cargo without fully opening the liftgate.
Convenient Technology
Every 2025 Bronco Sport features a 13.2-inch capacitive infotainment touchscreen with swipe capability, conversational voice command recognition, and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard driver assistance features include Pre-Collision Assist, Lane-Keeping System, and Blind Spot Assist to give you extra peace of mind on all your adventures.
