The Big Bend has a gray grille with white lettering, while the Heritage gets a white grille with red lettering, LED fog lights, and LED signature lighting. On the Outer Banks, you'll notice a shadow black roof, body-colored door handles, and a black and white grille. Ford equips the Badlands with a gray and white grille, metal bash plates, and front tow hooks. The Heritage Limited gets a white and red grille, an Oxford White roof, and a badge featuring Heritage script.
Engine (Power)
The base Bronco Sport is powered by a 181-horsepower, 1.5-liter EcoBoost I-3 engine featuring direct injection and port fuel injection. This engine is also in the Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks and generates 190 pound-feet of torque. If you go with the Badlands or Heritage Limited, you'll enjoy a 250-horsepower, 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine capable of producing 277 pound-feet of torque. The 1.5-liter engine enables a 2,000-pound towing capacity, while the larger engine allows the Bronco Sport to tow up to 2,200 pounds.
Performance
An eight-speed automatic transmission teams up with both Bronco Sport engines, improving output and efficiency while enabling seamless acceleration. Every Bronco Sport comes equipped with an all-wheel-drive system that distributes torque to all four wheels for uniform stability and traction. An available Trail Control system lets you set the speed when you're traveling off-road so that you can focus on your adventure. You can also take advantage of Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts modes.
Interior
The 2023 Bronco Sport seats five with ample headroom and legroom. Inside the base Bronco Sport, you'll find cloth seating surfaces, a six-way manual driver's seat, and a four-way manual passenger seat. As you move up through the trim levels, you'll find available amenities like leather seating surfaces, front seats with heating, and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control. In every Bronco Sport, the cabin's centerpiece is an 8-inch LCD capacitative touchscreen featuring support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
